By the Side:
At certain times during the year we will have
sides of pork available. Subscribe to our email list to receive updates on when it becomes available.
Price is $5.00/lb based on hanging weight, which is the weight of the side after slaughter but before cutting and wrapping. The average hanging weight is 80-100 lbs with your take-home or "freezer weight" being approximately 80% of the hanging weight based on the type of cuts requested (for example, bone-in or boneless roasts). The $5.00/lb includes slaughter, cutting, and wrapping to your custom specifications. Curing (i.e bacon and ham) is an additional $1.75/lb, sausage an additional $3.00/lb, and smoked sausage is an additional $4.75/lb.
If you would like to buy the side as a carcass so that you can butcher it yourself or use a butcher of your choosing, let us know and we will provide specific pricing.
